To count down to the fourteen days to Valentine’s Day, I thought I’d post a tribute to things that go so well together…love in balance if you like.
Today it is peace + quiet. You may think that quiet is the same as peace, but they are actually different, complimentary things.
As my coffee mug says:
“Peace does not mean to be to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm at heart.” UNKNOWN
Very admirable. Quiet on the other hand, means no children around! A little selfish perhaps.
Wishing you peace + quiet (for a while at least) and peace forever.
The perfect partnership of a sense of calm with a feeling of confidence helps us tackle the challenges in life and seize the opportunities.
Inner yin calm gives us a deep sense of connection to the universal way, which helps us move forward confidently with our yang actions.
Hoping you can find calm + confidence to take you through life.
Today’s reflection is on Receiving + Giving.
I think receiving should come first, because when we receive with gratitude and love ourselves we can give freely. Of course the old adage of giving without expecting anything in return still applies!
And just remember to be open to receiving.
