The whole trip was even more memorable as we shared it with our close adoption friends – we adopted our three girls, all now 9, from the same orphanage in 2004 (with three other families who joined us for that special trip). Then we were so lucky to be able join together again to share the experience of adopting siblings for our children (our son, and two girls). What an amazing connection we share.
Unfortunately we lost all of the video we took on our adoption trip in 2010 when our camera and laptop were stolen in a break-in. Fortunately our good friends came to the rescue and I’ve been able to use their vision to help me put together a video to capture the wonderful memories. Thank you.
Hope you enjoy the video and you may also like to take a look at the video I made of our daughter’s adoption.

Adoption has been such a blessing for us – I wish for our children’s sake that it would be viewed in a more positive light. Yes, poor adoption practices in the past have caused so much pain, but that should not hinder support for modern, child-centred adoption and the wonderful families it helps create.
